Death of an Arch

It came to my attention last night, that there was some confusion about which arch at Arches National Park actually fell. In an effort to ease your minds, here are pictures of the ones that didn't fall and the one that did.
Delicate Arch -Still Standing
Landscape Arch - Still Standing

Wall Arch - Not Standing Anymore (we took this picture in March)

Andy, thanks for the info and the wonderful pics. It is always sad to see something so beautiful go the way of all the earth, oh yea, it is part of the earth!

Joey and I were there a few months ago with the boy scouts. One of the young men leaders (also a geographer at BYU I think) shared with the boys that as beautiful as the arches are, they would all be gone some day and to focus on the things that would last. Little did we know how prophetic his words were.

It is a very sad day. I know what it feels like to have 'fallen arches', very painful.
