New Years Lake

These are a couple of pictures from our recent outing to Lake Mead on New Years Day. To protect the "innocent," some of the more provocative pictures have been omitted. Enjoy!

After all these years, Hannah still knows how to pose. Hannah was looking away and Leah called out to her, and this was the face she was making as she turned to look. She is always ready for a candid shot!

Daniel takes a few of his nieces and nephews for a jaunt.

Madeline and Markie love to kayak!

Karley ponders the universe.

Grandma leads an all-girl canoe excursion.

The rescue party that had to be sent out to Hannah, who foolishly jumped on the raft without grabbing a paddle first.

Daniel also jumped on the raft without a paddle; however, he used his extremely long arms to get back to shore.

Alex exploring the shoreline.

Asher, the pink-nosed reindeer.

Maddy, enjoying a peaceful moment in the kayak.

Against their better judgement, a contingent of our party did the Las Vegas version of a Polar Bear dip.

Daniel had to jump in to catch his life jacket that accidentally fell in.

The great and spacious shoreline. Our job was to shout insults at the crazy jumpers.

Paddle Forward!

It was a beautiful day. 60 degrees and no wind. There were times we could take off our sweat shirts. And for some of us to take off most everything else, too (gratefully those pictures omited for our own safety and your viewing enjoyment. Refer to boys gym locker room.com).
