French Advent Calendar
My students found this link while doing research on French Christmas carols. Go through the link and click on the advent calendar. Let me know which day is your favorite! Mine in #7 and Aunt Gingy's is #14. csdraveurs.qc.ca
Je n'ai jamais entendu le "Battle Hymnn of the Republic" avec les paroles d'un cantique de Noël. Très intéressant.I never happened to choose that one, skipped over #15 probably 20 times, and never knew it was there until you, of all people, had to find that one and point it out. I also like Petit Papa Noël.
Billy was really surprised at how well I could roughly tell him what each song was saying. I know about as much French as he know Spanish....we are a good pair
That is sweet that you remember some HS french. That is a tribute to your teacher. Everyone remembers more than they think they do, given the proper situation.

I've always loved #7. But the most intriguing to me is what I shall call the Battle Hymn of Christmas. Can you tell which one it is?
