Name these people

If anyone can name these quasi-Celebs you win!
I heard this guys voice and thought,WOW his voice sounds familiar. Then his wife called him by
his name and I instantly remembered how I know him.
P.S. This one is not a celeb. He just worked the beer tent at the Spyro Gyra concert. If you don't know who Spyra Gyra is you better axe somebody. I'll bet you would know three of there songs if you heard 'em!
Now I am not sure if this is the real guy or an impersonator.
One clue.. he is part of a duo.
I taught this M.C. the importance of wearing a undershirt under a white dress shirt and he showed me that wearing a pinky ring only makes your pimp hand stronger. You may know him as having a german last name. But to me he will always be _ _ _ _ Dogg.

Family Pictures

Mark and I took family pictures at the temple and Leah D did a great job taking pictures. Don't we look amazing, if anyone needs modles let us know. I really like the way all the pictures turned out and loved the way we looked. Mark wasn't to fond of smiling over and over agian. He was ready to be done after 20 pictures, but we took 3 rools and 1 1/2hrs.

Variety post

I've been accused of being MIA from the blog. Just haven't had much going on.

I ended up getting Elara a 1/4 size violin. I found an inexpensive teacher. So we will start lessons when the Parade of Homes ends.

This is the house I am trying to sell. I practically live hear. I know all the neighbors by name.

Elara and I love a good fish dinner on the Fridays that I have her. Seafood is the only thing she will pick over McDonalds. Oh yah! I took her out to breakfast the other monday for "shaushage" and eggs. I gave her one of those Knott's cups of jelly that are on the table. Now if we go out and they have those she gets her spoon and has an appetizer!

This is her eating a lemon at Harvest Cafe.

This is my latest girlfriend!

I have been "stackin' my paper" for a fun vehicle. I really want another motorhome, but it doesn't make sense until the gas isn't $3.50 per gal.
So I'm thinking Miata. I want a british racing green one with tan leather interior. I know it's a mid-life crisis car., but I really want one. I may settle for a cavalier or sebring . It just has to be a convertible. Anyhow, I will probably get it next weekend!!!

You know who's been MIA is...........and,.......... you know who you are!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM

You are a great Mom and Grandma!

You are always there to help with advice and to lend a hand.

I like the way you use slang like "true that" and how you like to txt your bff.

Good times!! That was such a fun trip to D-Land. It was Timmy's birthday and he wore a sticker and every one was sooooo nice to our group! Some of us were introduced to Billy Hill and the Hillbillies on this trip! What a fun day!

The most recent picture that I have of Timmy!
I just want to say that I'm so proud that you chose to serve a mission. You are a wonderful and caring person and I admire you and feel that the Houston area is lucky to have you during this time! I know you are a great missionary and that you are bringing the gospel to many.
We miss you, tons!!
Happy Birthday, little Tingy!!

A Visit from Aunt Becky and Uncle Ethan's Graduation, Baptism, Ordination...

What an eventful extended weekend. Becky invited us down to San Antonio for Ethan's Graduation and a military BMT graduation is something to behold! What energy! We got to meet Ethan's family and spend time together with Becky, the boys and Grandma. We had a lot of fun, played some games, went swimming, went to the Alamo and the Riverwalk. Ethan was baptized on Saturday morning. His Branch President felt that since Ethan had family here already that after the baptism it would be appropriate to ordain Ethan to the office of a priest. It was a wonderful experience.

A day's respite and Becky and the boys came up to Austin to stay with us for a day. This is the perfect time of year. It's cool, the blue bonnets are out (and those other pink and yellow wildflowers too, but I'm too manly to know what they're called.) Of course we had to take her to Rudy's.

The first time there was a little mysteriousness going into the unknown. Now I know what I'm in for and I know how long it will be before I get to see you all again but especially my wife and daughter I miss you all so much love Mark Jr

Is it any wonder...

I have always been so comforted and calmed by the voices of the righteous men of our gospel. I find it no surprise that these wonderful comforting men lulled my angels right off into nighty night land. I love conference and this one is especially wonderful and relevant to me. I love you family and hope to see you all again soon!

Elara's 4th birthday

Here are some picture of Elara's party.

Elara wanted to take this in the bath when everyone left.

After the pinatas we ate ratatouille soup, and sanwiches.

Notice the fine lettering by the pros at wal-mart!
Elara shows her approval by lifting the toy over her head.

After opening presents we lit a few fireworks and sparklers
You know it is a good party when the cops show up. I thought Officer G said he DID'NT want to have to come back out.

Scotty man reachin' for the decor.
Proud parents of a wild 4 year old girl.

Thanks to all who were able to come celebrate , and give Elara a great party!
