I met a Canadian girl named Nancy and she invited me out to dinner at P.F. Changs. we walked down the beach towards diamond head and caught the hula show you see below. It was great because they explained all the hula moves and between ukulele songs gave a brief Hawaiian history.

In Hawaii we greet friends, loved ones or strangers with "Aloha," which means with love. Aloha is the key word to the universal spirit of real hospitality, which makes Hawaii renowned as the world's center of understanding and fellowship.
Try meeting or leaving people with Aloha. You'll be surprised by their reaction. I believe it, and it is my creed. Aloha to you. Duke Paoa Kahanamoku
It was a good first day and I slept so good. What a warm and friendly place

Glad you're back. Sounds like you had a great time.
There's a statue of Duke in Huntington Beach as well. That guy must've been huge in the surfing world. Glad you're back and that you had a great time!
I wish I had as easy a time at making friends as you do
Matt, you lucky dog. Wish we could have been there too. It is a beautiful place, isn't it.
Matt I bet you had the time of your life!! I'm so jealous of your Hawaiian Tropic Tan! You better do a post about your strong PIMP HAND!!
Duke is also on the sidewalk in Redondo Beach! He got around! Good for you to take some time and see the sites. Does PF Chang's have any twists on the food in Hawaii? Can't wait until the next installment!
