Desert flowers in bloom

This past Saturday, we returned to the railroad tunnel hike at Lake Mead for a quick and exciting hike. The wildflowers were in full bloom.

Two little girls taking a rest after a long hike.
Elara did not want to hike, but she was a real trooper.

There were many yellow and purple flowers. It was so pretty.

The flowers on the side of the trail were amazing.

Even the hills were green.

The tunnel of love?

Flowers in their simplistic splendor.
