Big Trees
Here are some pictures of Big Trees. We went to Sequoia this summer with Dad and Ruth and had a great time. The kids loved the trees and we did several quick and easy hikes. The most scary one was to a little point called Moro Rock. Imagine, if you will, being on a top of a big rock with three wild and crazy children. I've never experienced vertigo, but it was the most disorienting time I've had on the top of a hill. One of Emma's grapes committed suicide. Apparently, he didn't want to grow into a raisin. We also spent our afternoons lounging in the stream that ran by our campsite.

how fun....I can't wait to come home...I hate being so far away
I wish I could have come...stupid army
that looked like a lot of fun i wish we could've squeezed that into this past summer too
You have to remember...it's tough being a grape.
Grapes have it a lot harder than we sometimes acknowledge. Is Emma learning to cope?
That looks like an awesome trip!
So Andy would you take your kids to Angel's Landing?
We did Angel's Landing a couple of years ago with Mark, Victoria and Hannah. We got Asher and Alex about half-way up the chains when it started to rain. Needless to say, we didn't make it to the top, but the boys keep wanting to do it again. We tried to climb it two weekends ago, but we just got poured on again. We didn't even start.
You are a brave, brave man. I'm such a nelly about stuff like that.
When we do Yellowstone, we"ll have to do a big family hike. I'm starting to brainstorm ideas. Maybe I should put together a blog entry and solicit feedback.
